Christina Hegel's Postz (12)

When the world looked at her all they could see

Was a beautiful girl who was filled with glee

But when she looked in the mirror all she could see

Was a heart full of pain and misery.

Wind Chimes

Making music with the birds

In the wind it sways and twirls

Beautiful, whimsical, watch it flow

Colourful, glamourous, making the garden glow

Listen to the songs, listen its chime

On any day and at any time.

Pork tenderloin idea

If anyone enjoys pork tenderloin, but is not sure how you want to make it to change things up a bit, you can try my recipe!

I like to slice the tenderloin into fist sized chops/medallions. Then in a bowl I crack 2 eggs beat 2 eggs, and in another bowl I mix flour, seasoning salt, pepper, basil, oregano and a bit of paprika (all seasonings to taste depending how well seasoned you like things). I take the pork slices and dip it in the egg, then in the flour mix making sure it is well coated, then let it fry in the frying pan with butter or vegetable oil until cooked through and golden brown.

When they are cooked, I put on some shredded cheese which melts, then put on fresh diced green onion and tomato as garnish to add a fresh crunch and extra flavour!

The Lonely Tree

There once was a tree so pretty and tall

But was planted away from the rest of them all

He had no one to talk to and was always alone

While others were visited by the people who roam

The park was so busy, except where he stood

To him his poor life was not very good

As the poor tree was often distraught

It was not a surprise that he always thought,

"My life is so boring, so empty and bare!

Why couldn't I have been planted over there?"

But then the day for those trees had come

When the city decided the park should have none

The city came and cut down them all

Except for the tree who stood pretty and tall

Never before had he felt this way

He did not want to see another day

With nothing to watch and no one around

The handsome tree felt like to hell he was bound

Then one day a bad storm came

The tree knew life would not be the same

For a seed had flew off of the tree

And landed right beside him, you see

Now the tree would now have a friend

So no longer wanted his life to end

So as the days went by and the tree grew old

He turned to his friend, to which he told

"No matter how lonely you may get,

Please my friend do not fret

For lonely you will get, I already know

And the days will go so very slow

But the day will come when there will be rain

And will blow off a seed, then yet again

You will have a friend just like me

Just stay strong my friend, you will see"

And just like that his life came to an end

But the storm came around and the tree had a friend.
